After his tenure at Shell in Australia and New Zealand, Scott became CEO of Viva Energy Australia in 2014, guiding it from private to ASX-listed in 2018. Under his direction, Viva Energy has become a top energy and convenience retailer, employing about 15,000 staff and meeting a quarter of Australia's transport fuel demand. Scott serves as a director for Viva Energy since 2018 and the Australian Institute of Petroleum since January 2020. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington and is based in Melbourne, home to Viva Energy's headquarters.
